Here are the forum rules. All members must follow them, no exceptions.
The forum rules may be changed from time to time, as seen necessary.
Please read all of the following, to avoid any problems ...

- New members

New members must introduce themselves in the appropriate area.
New members must choose an avatar within a week of signing up.
New members must try and fill out as much of their profile as possible.

- No insulting or fighting

Do not offend or insult anyone, and avoid getting into fights.

- No racism or racist comments

The odd joke is no harm, but there is a limit as to what is acceptable.
People can be easliy offended and upset if the wrong thing is said ...

- Pornography and other 18+ stuff

As there may be underage members on this forum, this must be limited.
If you post anything that has an 18+ rating, you must make it clear!
Anyone under the age of 18 should then not read or open the topic.
Put a clear warning in the topic title and/or description!

Example :
Topic title : This is cool!
    Description : 18+ only!
- Type and spell properly

The odd mistake is fine, but when a sentence is hard to read or understand, it's not ok.

Example 1 : dis typin iz no good coz i cnt red it
Example 2 : This typing is good, because I can read it.

See what I mean ? Example 2 is clearly easier to read and understand.
For those who have serious spelling problems, then, hmmm, ok, but for everybody else, no.
There is nothing worse than the people who think that writing in the "SMS" style is cool ...

- Limit swearing

Swearing isn't clever or cool, so only swear if you really have to ...

- No multiple or pointless posts

No posting multiple times for no reason, or posting pointless stuff.

Example 1 :
    Post 1 : That's strange
Post 2 : Oh yea, I forgot to say what was strange!
    Post 3 : LOL
Post 4 : This example is strange!
    Post 5 : Haha.
Example 2 :
Post 1 : This example is strange, isn't it?! Hehe.
In example 1, the person has posted 5 times. This is completely unnecessary!
Example 2 shows that one post is quite enough, and says the same amount.

If you post something, but forget to put something in that post ... use the edit funtion !
That's what it's there for, to change your post when you make a mistake or forget something.
The edit button is located at the right hand side above each post.

- Non-posting members and spammers

If a new member does not make a post within the first week of membership, the member will be deleted. If you are not going to post, there is no point in becoming a member, you are just wasting space. However, if you do make a post within the first week, you will never be deleted, unless you break the rules. If you have trouble signing up, activating your account, or logging in, please send an email explaining what's wrong, including your username, to forum@danielclayton.com within a week of signing up to avoid being deleted. Any member signing up just to spam or to be a general pain in the ass will be deleted, along with all of his/her posts, and will be permanently banned from the forum by login, email address and ip address/range. Also, you are only alowed to have one member account per person, and per email address.

- Becoming a moderator

To become a moderator, you must :

- Have posted at least 100 times.
- Visit the forum and post regularly.
- Be able to type and spell properly.
- Be serious, helpfull, interesting etc.

- If you break the rules ...

If you break any of the rules, you will be given one warning.
If you then break any of the rules a second time, you will be banned.
If any rules are broken, they should be reported to the Admin.
This can be done by sending a PM on the forum or by email.

- And finally ...

I am the owner and admin of this forum and website, so ...
I reserve the right to ban any member, for any reason, at any time.
I reserve the right to refuse membership to any person I don't like.
Wether it's fair or not, what I say goes, you have no right to argue.

These rules were put in place for the benifit of everybody.
If you don't agree with these rules, don't join the forum. Simple.
By registering on this forum, you are accepting these forum rules.

Remember, admin and moderators are here to help ... we don't bite, lol. Wink

So, there you go, that's all ... so please enjoy the forum! Very Happy
