Extract the pk3 file to the "main" directory of MOHAA and get ready to shed some blood! Version 4.0 notes: Added a more realistic looking blood splatter effect and darkened the blood color once more. This time the blood looks to be the perfect color. I've found the dead soldier skin code in the Effects.shader file. Visual Gore skins/blood mod research update: Apparently when a soldier is killed the actual skin on the model is changed. This is good news in the hopes to add bullet holes and gore skins to the dead models. The only thing is making sure that the gore and bullet holes are only used to match the death situation. THAT may well be a challenge that no modder(especially a beginner like me) can beat. Version 3.0 notes: Removed the Oghr panzerschrek and combat glove skins. Darkened the blood effects since many stated it was too bright. Excuse me, I'm actually a bit colorblind about shades of red. Version 2.0 notes: This is a blood patch for MOHAA with will add the effect of spilling blood from wounds and realistic stains on the floors(and walls). It also makes the player bleed when shot. I can honestly say that this patch has improved my enjoyment of Medal of Honor and I hope it does the same for you. Special thanks to Matt Pieper who originally made the blood spilling code using the barrel leak coding. Future envisioned additions: I am still working on this mod whenever I have time. Unfortunately, I am not a great programmer and am learning this as I go. My next step is to decompile to game's PK3 files and find the skins, soldier models and the code for the locational hit/death animations. If all goes as planned and my patience holds up, my next contribution to MOHAA's players will be visual bullet wounds and blood that stains the soldier's model skins whereever they are shot.
